This tutorial goes over the creation and manipulation of various layers from a scanned in sheet of various brush strokes for a specific effect. The tutorial also goes over various uses for the brushstrokes in the piece itself, from the backing for the various pieces of text to adding the look of wear and tear to the piece. The tutorial caught my eye because of the style of art, the interesting 'vintage' style is very appealing to me visually and I'd love to be able to do something like this in the future.
This is really groovy and I would defiantly want to use this. I like how bold all of the lines are and how they help make all of the other colors pop out even more.
ReplyDeleteIt gives the picture gives the poster an almost real life look, with the poster then the man in the poster blown up and the poster shrunk. I'll definitely be using this.
